I was born in the Italian side of Switzerland : Lugano. A long, long time ago. My parent moved in the French side of Switzerland when I was five. I am still living on that side of the country now.

As software was my favourite hobby (I learnt FORTRAN at school), I started my career in computer as software engineer. Remember that time, where the IBM 360 was the monster. I was working on a small IBM 1130 (16 Kbytes of RAM memory !). Programming in FORTRAN and of course ASSEMBLER. Can you imagine the number of cards I had to punch to make programs ! And, just think about what can take place in such a small memory (Specially when you take Window as reference). Then, of course, the computers came bigger and bigger. After 7 years of this beautiful job I was also using COBOL on a big monster of 256 Kbytes (seated in the middle of a big air cooled room) and even working in a multi-tasking environment. Today, you may need this capacity just to save one page with some drawings.

After many nights reading dumps to find out some bugs, I decided to follow a sales career and I started by selling the big monsters I used to work on.

Three years of sales covering a national territory and, I started with the international sales. Taking, at the beginning, the African continent as my first area of responsability.After six years I took in charge the Sales & Marketing departement for a big area covering the European countries and USA + Canada. Since then, I have changed companies but never the territory nor the job.
